  • Joinery

    • Novalab’s 13mm compact laminate joinery range
    • Designed for use in laboratories
    • Chemical resistant, anti-microbial and impervious to moisture
    • No requirement for lipping or edge sealing
    • Nothing to delaminate and therefore no risk of contamination (i.e. superior to laminated MDF)
    • Ideal for wet labs, PC1, PC2 and PC3 laboratories

  • Joinery

    • Novalab’s 13mm general purpose solid core board material
    • Strong durability and impact resistance
    • Like BioPro, no applied edges or lips and therefore cannot delaminate
    • It is also a homogenous, phenolic resin board but is lower density compered to BioPro product

    • Also has bespoke design capability
    • Uses high quality and reliable local NZ fabricators
    • Our frames are fabricated with 32×32 section steel supporting our specialist laboratory bench tops
    • Frames also allow for suspension of joinery
    • All frames are fitted with chemical resistant adjustable feet for levelling

  • Safety Stations

    • Novalab offers specialist plumbing hardware for safety stations, including the compact laminate structure for safety stations
    • Several designs already proven and developed with architects

  • Bollards / Reagent Shelves

    • Bespoke Novalab bench mounted service bollards and reagent shelves Novalab offers its experienced design input to meet specific use requirements
    • Bollards provide services above bench level and fed from the ceiling, to maximise benchtop space
    • Manufactured using Trespas Toplab Plus and extruded aluminium
    • Can include multi-height shelving with bunded edges

  • Dilution Recovery Traps

    • Anti-syphon dilution recovery traps Manufactured from chemical and solvent resistant polypropylene with a large 2.3 litre dilution bowl
    • Provides protection for waste water system by providing adequate dilution of any chemicals poured into the sink

  • Drying Racks / Coat Rails

    • Novalab manufactures drying racks from Biopro
    • Uses drying pegs manufactured from moulded polypropylene
    • Each drying rack also includes a bottom mounted drain trough and outlet to drain water to the sinks
    • Novalab’s manufacture coat hook rails from Biopro and use T316 stainless steel coat hooks
    • Commonly used in gown-up stations

  • Storage Systems

    • Novalab is NZ’s exclusive supplier of MedStor’s storage system products
    • Product range includes long span shelving systems and storage trays High strength trays are manufactured in the UK, comprising either durable grey ABS or clear polycarbonate plastic

  • Completely bespoke furniture design – a collaboration between Novalab design and MPI reps
  • The only enhanced (ie almost PC4) PC3 lab in NZ
